    You are inside the portfolio.

This site is drawn in the Poincaré disk model of the hyperbolic plane: a {7,3} tiling of heptagons, three meeting at every corner. Space here has constant negative curvature. Parallel lines diverge, the edge of the disk is infinitely far away, and there is always another cell.

Which is the point. Eight heptagons are works: the one you are standing in and its seven neighbors. The rest is room. Drag to travel, and notice that distances obey hyperbolic geometry, so the cells ahead of you shrink faster than your intuition expects. Click a lit cell and it is carried to the origin along its geodesic, where the plate opens into the thing itself. Drag inside it to handle the object.

KJR builds interfaces, tools, and the occasional impossible object. The center is wherever you're standing.

    SPACES

You are standing in the hyperbolic plane. Eight works are visible from where you stand; infinitely many are not. Parallel lines diverge here, so everything you walk toward gets smaller faster than it should. That is not a bug in the lens. It is honest space.
